How I review

Five = an absolutely amazing read that worked for me on every level.  A story that sticks with me when I finish and I can imagine reading it again sometime.  It doesn’t have to be a perfect book, but close to it.

Four  = great. I’ll be re-reading this one again!  Glad I bought and took the time to read it.  I’ll definitely recommend that book to my friends. May end up on my keeper shelf.

Three = meh. I was entertained while I read but pretty much forgot it all afterwards. Not sure I’d recommend it to my friends or anyone else.

Two = I didn’t enjoy the book.  It didn’t work for me, but I didn’t completely and utterly hate it.  It just wasn’t for me.

One  = Couldn’t stand the book.  Nothing at all about the story/characters/romance/writing/whatever worked.
